Plot
An artist named Kurahashi and a female artist named Cheiko await in a dentist's waiting room. The man feels attracted to the woman but says nothing to her. Later in the examining room, both patients are going under anaesthetia, but the man looks over at the woman and sees the dentist and nurse taking off her clothes, while sucking her body for blood like vampires. The man and woman escape from the dentist's office, but their horror is only about to begin ...

- Based on a 1926 short story by Junichiro Tanizaki published in 1926 by Chuokoron.
- "Daydream" screened at the Venice Film Festival in September, 1964. The movie also was also releaseed in the U.S. twice, first opening in Los Angeles on December 4, 1964 and then in 1966 with film director Joseph Green adding his own footage to the film.
