Kohei (Shugo Oshinari) is an ordinary salaryman. One day, Kohei and his friend Takumi take part in matchmaking meeting. There, Kohei meets beautiful Tomomi (Megumi Hatachiya). Kohei and Tomomi get close and they soon marry. At first they are a happy couple, but their relationship deteriorates.
Tomomi does not want to be deprived of her freedom and has an abortion. They live in an expensive apartment, because Tomomi wants to be the envy of others. Living that kind of life, Kohei falls into debt. Kohei also struggles to be an ideal husband to Tomomi. Kohei finally explodes with rage and violence. Tomomi has become reliant on Kohei and does not run away.
