Based on the true incident "Second Battle of Yeonpyeong" that occurred on June 29, 2002 between a North Korean patrol boat that crossed into South Korean waters and launched a surprise attack on a South Korean patrol boat named Chamsuri 357. The incident took place on the eve of the final 2002 World Cup, killing six seamen aboard the Chamsuri 357, wounding 18 others, and destroying the patrol boat.
Filming began July 28, 2014 in Jinhae, South Korea and finished mid-December, 2014.

I'm not the fan iof thriller movie,or this action genre. i've watch this just to see how versatile actor Kim Mu Yeol been perform right after his military. i've also forgot this is the real event while watch this. but,at the end i've have to give high praise to the production team. actor & story telling. all acting was so real even it is only green screen. the last part was so sad. I've tear during the war moment. i can feel all the hurt. because this is the real event, the scene seem so heartbreaking. I didn't expect the war was so bad.

BCP Sep 26 2020 11:11 pm It is sad that they died during what is supposed to be peaceful time. Dang, the North Koreans! I cried and cried. And it happened twice that I know of... one in 1999. The movie is well-made and the actors/actresses are excellent. My condolences to the families of the dead.
