Plot

Beautiful Azami is tired of her penniless and lazy boyfriend, Hideji, and is determined to break up with him. But first she must extract out of him all the money she has given him over their time together. She hatches a plot in which she stages a kidnapping and gets Hideji to pay a ransom. There is no shortage of malleable men willing to help the alluring Azami with her scheme but, somehow, Hideji just can't get it together to do anything about the ransom. Underpinning these shenanigans is a dark secret that cements the bond between Azami and Hideji. -- Dubai Film Festival

Fred Floyd Apr 29 2014 7:17 pm I was going through Midnight Pulp channel on Roku one afternoon when I came across this movie. I read the plot, which sounded good, and decided to give it a chance. I honestly don't know why I set my standards so high on this movie. This movie makes no damn sense. The movie was going along with what I had read in the plot description and it was funny in place, but (spoiler ahead) once they threw in the twist that Azami (girlfriend), Hideji (boyfriend), and Yuichi (Hideji's brother) are step siblings and have been from youth, everything just took a turn for the worst at that point. I also don't know what to say about the ending other than being left confused. I almost wish someone else would remake this because before the step sibling twist, I was actually enjoying the movie. Everything was there, it just wasn't done right. Overall, I would say that while the movie looked amateurish, the plot and acting was pretty decent and if the whole semi-incest plot was left out and the ending changed drastically, this would be a fun, comedic, quirky romantic comedy.
