A 16-year-old boy named Hiromi (Riki Takeuchi) struggles to become the leader of troubled high schools students groups all over Japan.
Traveling around the nation, Hiromi knocks down the leaders of troubled high schools groups one after another, but he runs out of money and has to go back home. His father, who owns a coffee shop, promises Hiromi that if Hiromi catches Tsuchinoko (a legendary snake-like cryptid from Japan), he will buy it for 1,000,000 yen. Hiromi spends days trying to catch Tsuchinoko. He also meets a woman who wants to become a singer and falls in love with her. One day, his younger sister Aiko is kidnapped.
