In 2007, writers from South Korea, China and Japan decide to make a picture book, with the theme of how the writers perceive peace.
Korean picture book writer Kwon Yoon-Deok decides to write about the sexual slaves used by the Japanese military, based on the testimony of actual victim Sim Dal-Yeon.
Kwon Yoon-Deok begins work on the story with the support of the other writers, but while writing the book she faces unexpected difficulties. Writers from South Korea and Japan have fierce arguments over Kwon Yoon-Deok's sketches. Progress on the picture book also stalls. The Japanese publishing company, which promised to publish the book, announces an indefinite postponement on the book. Kwon Yoon-Deok becomes tired of the situation. Can she send peace to the children?
