Dr. Jin is the first drama I watch opposite Park Min Young and since then watch almost all (maybe 90%) of his drama and movies. Iam watching simultaneously his currently airing drama " When a Man loves" and "East of Eden". I cant put into words how great he portrayed his role as Lee Dong Chul in East of Eden. I haven't even finished it yet but..he's one of the actors who makes me cry. As handsome as he is, he never failed his fans even once in portraying his roles. Awaiting for this new project of his "' The Messenger". Im sure without a double, he will give his best here.. Kudos to Song Seung Heon. For me, you one of the top caliber and versatile actor in Korea. I'm not a Korean but I'm one of your million fans. God Bless SSH.

JMamaradlo, Ph.D. Nov 16 2012 1:11 pm I have seen quite a few of Song Seong Heon' movies; he is definitely a top calibre--versatile, because he performs each ofhis characters with absolute reality-- he lives in everyone of them. He can readily emote powerful feelings of anger or resentment, love and tenderness, guilt or hatred.... He exudes human character with such resounding reality. It would be difficult, rather impossible to compare him with any actor--not just Korean actors, even with international icons that graced the movie screen. And why is that? He is so natural and simply lives in every episode ... In the screenplay, which by the way I consider superb. Kudos to Korean playwrights. After all, the screenplay is the backbone of the Koean drama. I therefore salute all of you! Minor grammatical, syntax, and usage errors in English translations are negligible, because, I, for one, do not lose tract of the contextual meaning of the Korean tnslation into English. However, it would be good to get rid othose error if drama fever wish to assume a really impeccable English subtitles. I can be contacted in the above email I provided.
