People dreaming of becoming professional baseball players meet baseball coach Kim Sung-Keun. With these people, Korea's first independent baseball team, the Goyang Wonders, is launched with Kim Sung-Keun as the team's manager. They go through a training regiment that is likened to Hell and they all hope their team can play in the Korean Professional Baseball league one day. For the next 3 years, the team picks up 90 wins, 25 ties and 61 losses. A total of 31 players from the Goyang Wonders go on to sign with a professional baseball club. While the team prepares for their next season, they learn that their team will be disbanded.
