A mysterious serial murder case takes place involving the placement of petals on the victims' bodies. Shinichiro Hanaoka (Hiroshi Abe), with his acute sense of smell, notices a germiculture scent on the bodies. Meanwhile, Tatsuro Komukai (Teruyuki Kagawa) is excluded from the investigation team. Instead of Tatsuro Komukai, Kana Nanajo (Haru) joins the investigation team. Tatsuro Komukai investigates the case by himself, but he is kidnapped by a man.
