- Based on hit 2013 South Korean film "The Face Reader".
- According to production company Jupiter Film (producer for the movie version and drama series version), making a drama series version was considered two years ago when the script was in its initial working stage.
- Drama series version will also expand on the character Han Myung-Hoi (played in the film version by Kim Ui-Sung) who was an actual face reader. His character will have a confrontation with main character Nae-Kyung (played in the film version by Song Kang-Ho).
