Plot
Raised in poverty and determined to never end up like his father who died bankrupt and weak, Tatsuya becomes tenacious and cold-hearted. Taking on the guise of the son of a wealthy man, he begins to run in higher social circles and scheme to work his way up the social ladder. Along the way, he meets Eiko, a shy girl who has lived a sheltered life due to her over-protective mother. Their close relationship brings Eiko out of her shell, and Eiko's purity promises to save him from the lies he has told and the people he has betrayed. But has he dug himself too deep?
