Plot
With “working women” as its theme, "I am a Nurse" first appeared in July of 1996. The first episode ended with Asakura thinking that nursing was the only profession for her, even after repeated screw-ups and failures. Part II, broadcast the following year in October 1997, shifted its focus slightly to romance, and the theme of "wanting to work while being in love." Then beginning in April 2000, the theme in Part 3 changed to the toughest things facing women: marriage, childbirth, and raising children while working. And now, Part 4 of the "I am a Nurse" story, which is loved by all ages from children to adults returns in an even better production. After their much awaited honeymoon, Izumi Asakura and Kentaro Takasugi return home. It's been seven years since Izumi started nursing, so she feels like she's a veteran. Unfortunately for her though, there is a new nurse on the block, and she's really good at what she does!
