CJ Entertainment is Korea's largest entertainment company, with a business that
encompasses film production, investment, distribution and exhibition. They are a branch of CJ Corporation (formerly Cheil Jedang), traditionally a food company. CJ Corporation spun off CJ Entertainment as a subsidiary in 2000. CJ Entertainment then went public in 2002 and became the first entertainment group listed on the KOSDAQ.
