Beijie! Wallace Chung my man! Wow! My head has refused to get over this guy’s acting in General and I. I don’t watch Chinese movies/dramas, but thought to give it a try bcoz of Angela baby. But guess what? I ended up getting fixated on Wallace. The chemistry btw Beijie n PingTing is the best I have watched in recent times, pure love, pure magic. U are simply the best! soom Feb 01 2022 6:09 pm Been watching an older C-drama titled Because of Love where he plays the lead, a top young cardiologist who is working on a tough tough case. His first love was driven away by his rich father. Her son is his patient, in urgent need of an expensive operation. With many family issues and secrets. The whole drama series is very understated and quietly acted. The restraint that the leads all show is admirable, and the little boy who played the patient was adorable and a very able actor in his own right. I rec this drama (found it on youtube, free) for anyone liking character studies and a slow and steady pace. Worth watching! lrt Mar 26 2019 3:38 pm I just watched All Out of Love 2018 and fell in love with his confidence and skill. I was surprised at how modern this drama was. Just gorgeous scenery and it was partly filmed in Paris. After watching non stop Korean dramas for 5 years I gave Chinese dramas a try and this one was a great introduction. It was never boring as the story and locations kept changing. I have to say the female lead wardrobes were luxurious and the artists know how to understate but aptly apply the male makeup where they were just drop dead handsome. Recently I have been so distracted with the trend in heavy bright stage like makeup in Korean dramas that I have just stopped watching the moment I see it. So sad really. Wallace Chung is absolutely the best actor in this series and his love interest Bai Ping Ting (Angelababy) is perfect in this role. They do such an endearingly love story together.
