Episode 1-25 Plot Synopsis
Episode 1
Lee Geum (actress Lee So-yeon) is a track coach and when her track team loses a meet because the referee was in cahoots with the rival team’s coach, she get furious and accosts the referee. While she is quarreling with the referee, she gets in the way of the camera crew that is supervised by producer Gyeong-woo (actor Shin Seong-rok). Lee Hwang (actress Moon So-ri) is on a business trip in Bangkok and she meets an old flame, Dong-hwan (cameo appearance), and shares a passionate kiss with him. Jung Yoon (actress Ha Joo-hee) has a crush on Yoo Tae-il (actor Lee Jong-won), who happens to be Lee Hwang’s husband, and she witnesses the kiss between Lee Hwang and her ex-boyfriend and promptly videotapes the act...
Episode 2
Hwang (actress Moon So-ri) brings Tae-young (actress Lee Tae-im) home when she gets drunk and doesn’t go to her rehearsals. Geum (actress Lee So-yeon) goes on a blind date in Soo-gyeong’s place and her blind date turns out to be Gyeong-woo (actor Shin Seong-rok). After blacking out from drinking too much, Gyeong-woo (actor Shin Seong-rok) wakes up the next morning and asks people to get Lee Geum’s (actress Lee So-yeon) phone number. He then calls her up and proposes that they meet once more. Gyeong-woo (actor Shin Seong-rok) proposes marriage to Geum all of a sudden...
Episode 3
Hwang discovers her father’s hospital bill in Geum’s desk and gets into a quarrel with Geum about it. In-shik, Hwang’s father-in-law, pressures Hwang to quit her job but Hwang deflects the request by saying that she is not comfortable with being a stay-at-home mom. When Geum is unable to pay off her father’s hospital bills, the hospital’s billing department calls her to tell her that they are discharging him.
Episode 4
Geum reluctantly seeks help from her sister Hwang by asking her to lend her some money to pay off their father’s hospital bill but she flatly refuses to help her. Three women knock on the door of In-shik’s home and they angrily demand to see Tae-young because they have reasons to believe that she is seeing their brother-in-law. Gyeong-woo buys an expensive dress for Geum after she borrows money from him.
Episode 5
Hwang thinks that Jung-yoon is retaliating because she stole Tae-il from her. She gets into a big quarrel with Jung-yoon. Gyeong-woo pressures Geum to marry him right away. Geum is flabbergasted to hear his request but she agrees to it for the sake of her dad’s hospital bills. Tae-young, Tae-il’s younger sister, got caught cheating on her husband with a married man and she runs away from home. Tae-il tracks down his mother and Tae-young at a karaoke bar and watches them in disbelief.
Episode 6
Gyeong-woo is still mad about his breakup with Min-sun and so he tries to hasten his marriage to Geum. Her mother and Tae-il bring tae-young home. In-shik, the patriarch of the family, scolds Tae-young severely and he takes away her credit cards. Hwang shows her singing skills in front of her in-laws for her daughter’s sake but...
Episode 7
Hwang and Tae-il spend a wonderful time at the karaoke bar and they get into a romantic mood. They move to a room. Hwang gets flustered when she suddenly gets a call from Dong-hwan, whom she had a one-night stand with in Thailand. Dong-hwan tries to woo Hwang but she turns him down. Dong-hwan says that unless she meets him, he might tell her father-in-law, who he’ll be meeting the next day, about their relationship. Left without any options, Hwang goes to the hotel where Dong-hwan is staying.
Episode 8
Dong-hwan complains to Hwang when she arrives at the hotel suite. Dong-hwan gets angry that she merely thought of him as a one-night stand partner and the fact that she didn’t take his calls. Hwang also gets mad at Dong-hwan and slaps him.
Gyeong-woo goes to see Man-se and introduce himself to hurry his marriage to Geum. Jung-yoon gets furious that Hwang is cheating on Tae-il by meeting Dong-hwan and contemplates sending a photo of Dong-hwan and Hwang embracing in Thailand to Tae-il.
Episode 9
Due to her imminent wedding, Geum goes to meet Gyeong-woo’s mother. Gyeong-ja is not happy that her son is marrying Geum and disapproves of her. She alsop happens to be the director of the school where Geum works as the track coach. When Geum enters her home, she doesn’t acknowledge her and goes to her room.
Geum is mad at Gyeong-woo for not telling him who his mother was. Gyeong-woo’s mother goes to see her brother, In-shik, and gets mad at Tae-il for introducing Geum to Gyeong-woo...
Episode 10
Jung Yoon sees Tae-il and Hwang appear at work together to attend a company meeting, and Jung-yoon decides to send a picture of Tae-il kissing Hwang in Bangkok to Hwang.
Gyeong-woo’s mother relents and approves of the marriage between Gyeong-woo and Geum. When Min-sun’s sees Gyeong-woo’s wedding announcement, she tells him that her wedding might be called off. Gyeong-woo is shocked when he hears his ex-girlfriend’s telling him this...
