Bio
Su Yan entered the prestigious Shandong College of Arts in 1993 to study
performance under the school of drama and was immediately recruited by
the Kongzheng Drama Troupe upon graduation. She made her film debut as
a nurse in Zhang Yimou's To Live and had performed in over thirty TV series
between 1997 and 2004. Her recent performance in Chen Guoxing's
Chen Yun earned her a Best Newcomer nomination at the 2005 Huabiao
Film Awards.
