Scent of Summer/ep. 1-20 Plot Synopsis

- ep. 1 Hae-Won, who has a cardiac disorder, falls down holding her chest in a sudden shower. Min-Woo meets Eun-Hye while avoiding the sudden shower, and falls in love with her.
- ep. 2 While hiking on the mountain, Min-Woo meets Hae-Won for the first time, and feels something very familiar from her. Hae-Won
- ep. 3 Min-Woo and Hae-Won meet again at a tea plantation. The plantation is very familiar to Hae-Won even though she has never been to the place.
- ep. 4 Jung-Ah witnesses Min-Woo kisses Hae-Won. Soon, she finds that it was her misunderstanding. Min-Woo asks Hae-Won to go to an opera with him. At first, Hae-Won hesitates because of Jung-Jae, but she agrees.
- ep. 5 While working together at Calla resort, Min-Woo and Hae-Won find they have many resemblances. Jung-Ah finds a picture of Min-Woo and Hae-Won taken from the mountain, and is enraged.
- ep. 6 Dae-Poong tells Hae-Won that Min-Woo loves her. After hearing that, she intentionally gives Min-Woo the cold shoulder, and disagrees with him on his plans for the renovation of Calla resort.
- ep. 7 Min-woo and Hae-Won design and decorate the propose room together. Jung-Jae proposes to Hae-Won in the propose room. Min-Woo discovers that his precious necklace is lost ...
- ep. 8 Hae-Won passes out at her engagement party, and is brought to a hospital. Min-Woo condemns himself, and ...
- ep. 9 Jung-Jae asks Min-Woo to forget about Hae-won, and Min-Woo agrees. Min-Woo decides not to work with Hae-Won. Jung-Jae plans to have a trip with Hae-Won.
- ep. 10 Hae-won goes to an island alone, and is not able to come back because of a typhoon. Min-Woo rents a motor boat, and goes to the island where Hye-Won is. Hae-Won and Min-Woo decide to stay at the island one more day.
- ep. 11 As Hae-won gets off the boat, Jung-jae represses his anger and greets her calmly. Jung-ah, on the other hand, makes it clear that she can never forgive her. Meanwhile, Min-woo asks to meet Jung-jae to explain what has happened between him and Hae-won.
- ep. 12 Upon hearing that Hae-won left home, Min-woo borrows Dae-poong's car and tries to find her whereabouts. Although Jung-jae tries to focus on his work, he is unable to stop thinking that Min-woo might be with Hae-won. Meanwhile, Hae-won encounters Eun-hae?
- ep. 13 Hae-won runs out of the summer house and bumps into Min-woo who came in search for her, and the two take off together. While cleaning the broken bottles in the summer house, Jung-ah finds a note written by Eun-hae's father with the name So Eun-hae on it.
- ep. 14 Hae-won visits Eun-hae's grave and thanks her for giving her a chance to live again. Eun-hae's father tells Hae-won not to visit him again, but focus on living her life to the fullest instead. Meanwhile, Jang-mi and Dae-poong throw a birthday party ...
- ep. 15 Jung-jae questions Min-woo as to whether the feelings he has for Hae-won are genuine. Jung-jae tells Min-woo that Hae-won deserves to know who the donor of her heart is. Min-woo begs Jung-jae to keep it a secret from her and promises Jung-jae that he will ...
- ep. 16 When Hae-won realizes that her heart donor was a female, she is surprised and asks Jung-jae why he kept it a secret from her. Meanwhile, Jung-ah tries to change Min-woo's mind by threatening him that she will tell her about Eun-hae. Min-woo storms out by ...
- ep. 17 Although Hae-won finds out the truth behind the heart donor, she is still unable to erase her love for Min-woo. Eun-hae's father asks her to be happy with Min-woo for a long time, although his daughter had to leave him so young. Upon learning the truth,
- ep. 18 Hae-won asks Min-woo to separate from her, saying that she is unable to fill Eun-hae's place in his heart. Jung-ah is relieved that Hae-won did not reveal that she knows the truth to Min-woo, but Jung-jae feels Hae-won's pain and is very saddened.
- ep. 19 When Min-woo learns that Hae-won knows the truth about her heart donor, he blames himself for being so foolish. He rushes to Hae-won, but she coldly rejects him. Hae-won hurries with the preparation for her wedding with Jung-jae, as Min-woo looks painfully on.
- ep. 20 Min-woo hears at the wedding hall that Hae-won collapsed and rushes to the hospital. Jung-jae grabs Min-woo by his throat and reproaches him that this all happened because of him. Dr. Kim warns Jung-jae that Hae-won is in critical condition.
