- ep. 1 Yun-kyung is a working mom who leads a busy life balancing her family and job. One day, she goes to get a medical checkup and runs into In-suk who was her first love.
- ep. 2 Yun-kyung tries to forget her encounter with In-suk, but he later tracks her down after he sees her medical results. He tells her that it appears that she is suffering from cancer.
- ep. 3 Yun-kyung is shocked and is rechecked at another hospital. She receives similar results. Yun-kyung is worried about how to break the news to her husband, Yoon-ho.
- ep. 4 In-suk tries to console Yun-kyung as she goes through this painful process. Yun-kyung begins a string of medical tests, as Yoon-ho looks on in sadness.
- ep. 5 In-suk 's feelings grow more confused as he observes the happy marriage that Yun-kyung shares with her husband. It is determined that Yun-kyung needs an immediate surgery but there is trouble trying to secure a date for the actual surgery to take place.
- ep. 6 Yun-kyung continues to work tirelessly for her family and career, even with the upcoming surgery. Yoon-ho feels bad to his wife as he sees her struggle so much. The surgery takes place as In-suk and Yoon-ho wait nervously.
- ep. 7 Yun-kyung is suddenly taken to the Intensive Care Unit and loses consciousness. Yoon-ho observes Yun-kyung 's condition and sheds tears of sorrow. In-suk also sees her at night and feels his past emotions for her surface again.
- ep. 8 Yun-kyung is discharged and tries to return to her daily life. Even when she returns to the hospital for checkups, she only engages in light conversation with In-suk. As Yun-kyung tries to catch up on her work, she suddenly feels physical pain.
- ep. 9 Joon is rushed to the ER but there is not an empty room for him to be treated at the hospital. In-suk rushes to the hospital in the late hour and helps him get treatment. Yun-kyung tenders on her son, and In-suk feels distant from this new side of her tha
- ep. 10 Yun-kyung is on the verge of collapsing as she tries to care for Joon. In-suk notices this and expresses his anger to her for overexerting herself. Yoon-ho who sees the two arguing begins to grow suspicious of the two.
- ep. 11 Yun-kyung 's illness is diagnosed as she tries to carry on with her normal day-to-day activities. After she finds out the disease she is suffering from, she is shocked and disappears. Yoon-ho tries frantically to find her.
- ep. 12 Yoon-ho buys flowers for Yun-kyung but is met with lukewarm emotions from her. Yoon-ho falls into confusion and despair as he opens an old album and sees a picture of Yun-kyung and In-suk together.
- ep. 13 Yoon-ho realized that In-suk was Yun-kyung 's lover in the past. Yun-kyung falls into despair with her current situation. Yoon-ho hears a voice message that In-suk left for Yun-kyung.
- ep. 14 The enraged Yoon-ho pays a visit to In-suk to confront him. Although Yoon-ho trusts his wife, he finds it difficult to forgive her. Yoon-ho goes to his wife 's office to make up, but is once again outraged when he sees In-suk standing there.
- ep. 15 Yoon-ho is disappointed with himself for not handling the situation better and leaves on a business trip. The truth about why In-suk had to leave Yun-kyung in the past is revealed, as yet another obstacle awaits Yun-kyung.

- ep. 20 Yoon-ho is shocked to hear from In-suk that Yun-kyung has given up on her treatment. Yoon-ho sheds tears as he observes his wife refusing to go to the hospital. Kyung-sook gives Yun-kyung a large sum of money.
- ep. 21 Yun-kyung 's condition continues to worsen as Yoon-ho looks on in despair. In-suk who had been looking tirelessly over Yun-kyung collapses due to his weariness. Min and Joon pay a visit to the hospital.
- ep. 22 Yun-kyung realizes the ray of hope she has as she hears her children singing for her. In-suk continues to provide support for Yun-kyung. In-suk also starts to feel physical pain from the exhaustion that he has been experiencing.
- ep. 23 In-suk also receives disturbing news about his health. Meanwhile, Yun-kyung continues to recover with the help and love she has been getting from the family and In-suk.
