- ep. 2 Fate brings Jung-do and Cherry to meet again at a nightclub. Cherry finds her way into Jung-do's house, and Jung-do feels uneasy as Detective Moon continues to search for her. Meanwhile, Joon-ki approaches Young-joo after meeting her on a blind date.
- ep. 3 Duk-soo's scheme is stopped short by Young-joo and Jung-do. Jung-do bursts into tears at his father's constant schemes and breaking of the law. Detective Moon who turns out to be Cherry's father is angry at Duk-soo for dragging Cherry into this mess.
- ep. 4 When Jung-do finds his name on the board of those who passed the bar, he screams out in joy. The entire village has a party to congratulate Jung-do's passing of the exam. Meanwhile, Jung-do finds himself worried and concerned about Cherry.
- ep. 5 Jung-do rushes to the airport to find Cherry before she takes off, but fails to find her. Meanwhile, Jung-do learns that the woman Joon-ki loves is Detective Oh Young-joo. Cherry loses all of her money to swindlers and faces the risk of being kidnapped.

- ep. 7 After much commotion, Jung-do finally passes the test to become a prosecutor. Meanwhile, Cherry gets fired from her work as a singer at a live caf?, and walks back home to where she encounters Joon-ki.
- ep. 8 Jung-do carries Young-joo on his back and rushes to the ER. At the news of Young-joo's injury, Joon-ki rushes to the hospital and yells at Jung-do for failing to protect her. Just then, Joon-ki realizes how much he loves Young-joo.
- ep. 9 Joon-ki talks softly to Young-joo, but her heart is in pain as she feels pangs of guilt towards him. Meanwhile, Jung-do goes to Cherry's house to pick her up, but she angrily tells him to stop being so nice to her.
- ep. 10 Jung-do confesses his love for Cherry, but she rejects him and turns away. Meanwhile, feeling guilty that she is not in love with Joon-ki, Young-joo makes up her mind to tell him how she truly feels about him.
