When Ryunosuke Masuko and Takumi Uetani were children, they played with fireworks that caused their apartment building to burn down. Due to that apartment fire, Jun Nomoto (Go Ayano) lost his wife and child and was burned himself. 15 years later, Ryunosuke Masuko (Hayato Isomura) has tried to a live normal life, while suppressing guilt from his childhood days. But, Takumi Uetani (Seiya Suezawa) has lived as if time had stopped since that day. One day, Jun Nomoto appears in front of Ryunosuke Masuko and Takumi Uetani and he is eerily kind to them. His kindness feels unsettling to Ryunosuke Masuko, but to Takumi Uetani it appears like a light of salvation.
