Jung Hee-Wan (Kim Min-Ha) is 24-year-old woman who doesn't have the will to live. She lives her life as a recluse. One day, her childhood friend and first love Kim Ram-Woo (Gong Myung) appears in front of her. He died 6 years ago and is now a grim reaper. When Kim Ram-Woo was alive, they were best friends and also had feelings for each other. Due to their own reasons, they did not tell the other person how they felt. An accident then caused Kim Ram-Woo's death. Now, Kim Ram-Woo tells Jung Hee-Wan that she has only 1 week before she dies. He continues to tell her that if she wants to die peacefully, she needs to call his name 3 times. Jung Hee-Wan, who lives a lonely life, doesn't want to separate from him again and does not call his name. Kim Ram-Woo gets her to make a bucket list of things to do before she dies and they carry out her list together.

Usually I don't really care about appearance, but because of her look, I can't enjoy the romantic feeling the leads have.

I wasn’t able to get over it for three days after watching this.Each episode felt like it was ripping my heart out. It’s truly a drama worth taking the time to watch, and I definitely want to see more works like this in the future. Both Kim Min Ha and Gong Myung are amazing actors, and I really hope to see them in more dramas together. Gong Myung Oppa Saranghae !

It wasn't really our fault be me and another friend had a heated argument with another friend in class on the last day of the week and the two of us ended up didn't talk to him till the rest of day. On Sunday he went to a picnic near a waterfall with a group of boys and accident happened. We went to school on Monday and were devastatingly distraught by the news. After school me and a few of our classmates take the public bus traveled to another district hospital where he was admitted. He hurt his head and paralysed for a lifetime. He can never going back to school. We cried buckets knowing we can never hanging out with him anymore and I can never borrow the music tapes from him and talking or discussing anything interesting as teenagers anymore. He was a rare type of boys where you can discuss so many smart things and weird things as well. He dreamt of going to university to escape the hard life and the sleeping town we lived. The remaining year we're in highschool, we spent most of our time after school in the local hospital where he stayed for almost a year. He died while we were thousand miles away in college and universities. Now thinking back, it must be hard for him, who dreamt so high, leaving behind and watching us pursuing the dreams that was his too. There must be a big hole in his heart. After the accident, there were so many things left unsaid including "I'm sorry" to him. I wish we didn't argue that day and that we talk a lot for the remaining of the day. I wish he didn't join the trip with those boys which we knew were different than him and quite notorious sometimes and they brought alcohol during the picnic. We were told that his death wasn't natural. His family moved away after his death and I never know his grave. The rest of our friends moved on, get professional jobs, started families and moved away to the cities. Now that I remember him again, I think I'm the one who left with the big hole in my heart. After went out of the hospital, he told me he hope he will be reincarnated as a rooster in the next life. I return to stay in the sleeping town but commutting to work in the city a few years ago, and from time to time when I travel around the world, God knows how excited I am whenever I see a rooster, a sign that his memory never leave me

Even death can't separate their love away. This kdrama spoke so hard to me, to keep alive because life is worth living. Thank you. I still alive , i want to alive. Grieving is a hard topic, and this drama handles it in a way that feels very personal and hopeless. It offers a fresh perspective while making people cry.
