(SPOILERS) it’s actually amazing that the entire collection of scenes were all displayed through how the professor portrayed kang’s story, which formed an unreliable character. i admit that i formed alot of theories mid way but the shocking reveal of how everything was just completely made up by kang was crazyy. i atleast thought that he had actually lived with them in that house but it was revealed that he had only visited the house once, and he wasn’t even alone, he was with a group of other friends. i heard some people state the entire reason kang even targeted the professor didn’t make much sense but from how i saw it, it was perfect as kang was just a vulnerable orphan who had just opened up to someone but unfortunately eventually realizing that the professor saw him as nothing but another boring story that couldn’t be suitable for another one of his writeups. it honestly baffled me how some people did not get the concept of the series and was even so dramatic about the scene where kang made out with the professor’s wife, i mean, are we watching the right show or did you also become the delusional professor munoh after watching? lmaoo Alsoo professor munoh started writing in the final bit of the series after quitting his job and becoming a librarian!! i think that what kang did was very much needed for him to lower his ego and obsession with his college crush and the man he envies. I hope there's a season 2, but I doubt it. It had a perfect ending! Oumaima Jul 02 2026 7:16 pm I have to disagree with @TSL. I thought the revenge plot was brilliant and executed really well. The drama is layered and psychologically complex, which I know won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. I loved every bit of it. It was slow at times, but in the best way, it took its time to let the characters and emotions breathe. Lee Kang grew up carrying so much bitterness and resentment because losing his parents at such a young age shaped his entire life. The memories he had of them meant everything to him. He treasured them so deeply that he avoided talking about them, afraid they might somehow lose their significance. When he finally shared those memories with the professor, it was an enormous act of trust. He was opening up about something incredibly personal and precious. That trust was shattered when he overheard the professor dismissing those memories while speaking to his wife. To Lee Kang, they were the last meaningful connection he had to his parents. To the professor, they were nothing more than an unremarkable potential research project. I think it’s completely understandable why Lee Kang grew to resent him after that. TSL Jul 01 2026 3:11 am I must say the drama started off well with real cliff hangers.. but as the drama progresses, it just didnt happen like i expected. i tot the plot was suppose to be the writer trying to snatch a young genius writer's work after his slump. And i also dont get the last ep. the revenge plot is weak. i dont understand why he will grow to be so bitter. But if you are for some amazing story telling that make your mind confused,mentally challenging , with so much suspense . This is it. It really has disturbing scenes .
