Everything was done perfectly, and this time "the cells" got plenty of screen time. The chemistry between Go Eun and Jae Won was spot-on, I hope to see them act together in another drama. Even though there are only 8 episodes, but I’m quite satisfied with how the entire drama was put together. As a noona watching this, I could really feel Yumi’s “Butterfly Era.” The ending of episode 8 felt warm and touching—I cried tears of joy. I’ll keep rewatching Yumi’s Cell Season 3 over and over. Her performance was, as always, great. Yumi taught me a lot - how to chase my dreams, how to walk away from relationships when I know I deserve more, how to set firm boundaries, how to overcome heartbreak and many more. Most importantly, this series reminded me that I am the leading character of my own life. It was such a joy to watch the cast, as it felt like everyone truly enjoyed making the show. I’m so happy with the ending, Yumi truly deserved someone as caring and fun as Soon-rok and she did so many healthy choices in Season 3. Yay! He is young but mature and it’s sexy. I wish there was more episodes. Let me not forget, the way he touched her head while kissing and caressing her hair gets me everytime. I find that such a romantic thing, maybe am just lonely ? sachi May 04 2026 10:35 am Yumi's cells has been such a solid all rounder, one of my top fav kdramas and one of the very few that keeps the fun in every season. My only wish was that season 3 should have been longer. I do think they got the plot bang on but I feel like if the season was a bit longer we could have seen more comedic and wholesome moments, which make this show so good. On a real note, it's so rare to see kdramas continue to s3 with quality and the same integral cast so I'm grateful Kim Go Eun stook with the show to finish the story. Highly recommend watching this show from season 1-3!! So jealous of those who can watch it all without any breaks in between haha :) Lea Apr 30 2026 4:29 am I’m a bit surprised that most dramas right now have around 12 episodes, while the one I’ve been waiting four years for only has eight!!! It’s even more frustrating when her past relationships got 14 episodes each, but her story with her husband has so much less time. ? I've been reading Yumi Cell's since I was in high school, and they got Soon Rok perfectly! I know everyone loves Woong or Babi, and even though Babi is still my personal favorite, Soon Rok is who my girl Yumi deserves! I really adore how Yumi hated SoonRok in the beginning. I think she liked him right from the start. Regarding SoonRok, he likes Yumi too, especially when he decided to visit her on his birthday. For an introvert person to do it, wow, it is a sign. I am really curious about what will happen next. So sad it is only 8 episodes... I need more! And it will be so sad to say goodbye to Yumi!!! Ok Apr 21 2026 1:09 pm Just my opinion… the first two episodes of Season 3 were pretty boring to me, and judging by the ratings for Episode 2, I don’t think I’m alone on that. Episodes 3 and 4 were soooo calm they honestly felt like a lullaby — I was almost falling asleep by the end of Episode 4. I feel like Season 3 is missing some charisma. You know when someone is attractive but just not that interesting? It’s kind of like that. The actors are good, and Soonrok is actually doing better than I expected, but nothing is really grabbing me — it all feels a bit too plain. I had a totally different vibe when I read the webtoon. And I can say, this is so refreshing I love how the storyline goes and SSR character matchly provide great chemistry with the dislike that KYM is building. Mary Apr 07 2026 7:00 am The timing is perfect and great. My emotions have been completely reset which means I will be able to hop on to Yumi's life again and experience her new love. The first season came in 2021 and we all fell for Woong. We never got over the breakup. S2 came the very next year and many of us harboured those emotions and still went along to see what Yumi will undergo with Babi. Now it's been 4 years so I'm personally interested in this chapter. Having completely void myself of the previous seasons. I am finally able to knock off the male leads who were only extras and embrace Yumi who is main character and whose emotions alone matter. He is the main lead Only for season 2. Just as Woong is the main lead only for season 1. Soonrok is the ultimate endgame, and we want the drama to be faithful to the source material because it is a masterpiece. We have been so mad that Soonrok's webtoon moments and scenes had been used by Woong and Babi in the drama. Regardless I hope they create new moments that is even better here. But when it comes to the love factor, I think there is too much confusion. It does make the story more interesting, but I still feel that as the main lead, Yu-mi should choose Ba-bi. The writer made it more complicated, and Season 3 will probably create more suspense. Still, I hope Yu-mi ends up with Ba-bi. Please don’t remove Park jin young, Ba-bi as a main character.
