Hornclaw (Lee Hye-Young) is a killer in her 60's and she has emotionlessly killed cockroach-like humans for the past 40 years. She is called the Godmother and she is admired as a living legend, but she is gradually treated as nothing at the company that she works for. Too-Woo (Kim Sung-Cheol) is a young and passionate killer. He joins the same company. He has been chasing Hornclaw all his life and he never takes his eyes off of her. One night, she gets injured and Vet Kang (Yeon Woo-Jin) treats her. She has special feelings for Vet Kang and his daughter. Too-Woo explodes with anger at Hornclaw, who shows an unfamiliar side.

MrPhinn Feb 26 2026 5:46 pm Well, it was a pretty good movie. The fight scenes were somewhat believable when you consider a 63yr old woman is fighting primed young men. The story was interesting but a few things were unclear to me. But it's worth watching for sure.

Bogsung'a Apr 30 2025 2:46 pm I had Just gotten swept up by the Korean Wave when I found this book translated to English in my local public library. I wasn't looking for it, I just changed upon it. The fact that it was even available at my local library is significant because I live in Kick Dirt, USA. (Not a real place, just a euphemism for the middle of nowhere). I liked the book and to see that it has been adapted to a movie is very exciting for me. I hope the movie does the book justice.
