Yes, there's a lot of violence and also blood and you will HATE the bad guys (even if it's Rain), but the plot/writing/camera work and all other things of filming a drama make it REALLY watchable. A few minor things of the plot bothered me, but what can I do, it did not really disturb the overall feeling I had at the end of S2 :) The cast plays perfect, Rain was so scary, wow, I needed a new t-shirt every 2 episodes :) I'm in for Season 3! Im Baek-Jung & his gang literally doing every illegal things in this drama using every type of weapons killing bunch of police & forces but how they escape every time.. if you think logically it was just one gun that needed to stop Im Baek-Jung but not any policeman used it against him.. Apr 16 2026 1:19 pm Oh my God , my Legend idol Rain outshined every one , in this bloodhounds 2 drama , I was worried if I see him get beaten that I might not want to watch, but , he made me forget him as Rain and personified the evil so well as a villain , I wanted to see him get beaten , bravo. I have noticed in every genre of any entertainment role he does it in top perfection . Just as he shinned in marshal arts in the American Ninja . I Just love him even more now . He should be cast in more dramas , and get an award for this role . He just wiped out every Korean villain on the screen . The drama had potential, but the scriptwriters really need to step up in the next season. I finished it, but honestly, I’m disappointed — the storytelling felt uneven, and the emotional beats didn’t land as strongly as they should. There’s a lot of room for improvement.... I’m disappointed in Bloodhounds2. First off Gun-Woo character why is he soo emotional in here,, why are they having him cry about everything in sight?? I understand for some parts he should show empathy and compassion but it was like throughout the entire serious,, he portrays a tough boxer, but yet the script wants him to cry about everything where it got to point the crying was useless or the emotions weren’t even real to me anymore. Then the bombing at the hotel,, knowing TaeGeom is a bomb expert they all rush in like they didn’t just find out he’s a bomb expert ,, that was unnecessary. Then ep5 how was the girl not protected knowing those guys are mad killers, they let her walk out alone to smoke come on.. these are elite killers.. all of this just didn’t make sense, I understand these are small details but they add up cause the entire season 2 was off and even some of the acting was mid level I’m talking legends in here,, but the acting was off as well. Just the right amount of that would have been solid, I had to skip a lot of those scenes... Watch out for Rain in season 3. I think his death was faked. But I feel a bit uneasy, watching our heroes get punched and kicked in the head so much. That’s really going to scramble their brains :-). This is the first movie I’ve watched with him, and he was great in his role. Every time he gets angry, I smile for some reason. He was so stubborn in pursuing Kim Gun-Woo that, for some reason, it felt like he was pursuing a love interest. mewsmews Apr 05 2026 2:26 pm always always, always.... every time a second south korean series for something....always goes to shit! And of course, netlfix dip their hands on this. why? because now we have a story that Does Not Finish, and cliffhanger bait. Something the first series did not have. it was a one and done story. Period. Though South Korea would not go "North American" way of making shows, since they did that in past in netflix, and i stopped all together to watch anything from netflix. Wasting my time to invest in a show, that did not finish or was canceled... kinda like the horror zombie Kingdom. plus, oh 2 characters come back from the last series.... yya,,,, oh they come back to die. Jade Apr 05 2026 1:14 am Stellar cast, main and supporting actors! Brutal for my test but had to watch it after I’ve watched the first one, which I loved too. Love the friendship and the bond of the main duo. They excelled in their performance. Have to admit that as much as I hated Rain as the ruthless villain he was superb in his role. At times I had to remind myself how cool and funny he can be in movies and dramas:) Seems to me they’re planning the third one. I’ll have to wait for that. In Season 2, GunWoo is a soyboy & cryboy while the "We are family and we stick together" motto had been cringe to watch. I guess they're trying to replicate the cringe character "Dom" from the Fast&Furious storyline. Everything in S2 is just unnecessarily reckless, unlike in S1 where each decision made sense and each fight had a reason. When it comes to the villain, there simply isn't a comparison to the depth and complexity to the bad guys from S1. The main villain in S2 was not convincing at all. Weak motive, easily agitated, thug-like, low-level. In contrast, the villain in S1 commands fear, well connected, highly organized, backed by a strong end convincing "too big to fail" motive. The chemistry between the main actors was top-notch, and the fight scenes were simply brilliantly staged. I really hope season 2 comes soon—I'm so ready.
