In 1997, due to IMF crisis, Guk-Hui's (Song Joong-Ki) family business collapsed in South Korea. He and his family decided to move to Bogota, Colombia. To survive in the unfamiliar country, Guk-Hui begins to work for Mr. Park (Kwon Hae-Hyo), who is the most powerful person in the Korean Merchants' Association. Guk-Hui's works hard and draws the attention of Mr. Park. As a test, Mr. Park places Guk-Hui in a clothing smuggling operation. Guk-Hui is almost caught by customs in Columbia and he risks his life to protect Mr. Park's merchandise. This makes a deep impression on both Mr. Park and customs broker Soo-Young (Lee Hee-Jun). Soon, Soo-Young makes a dangerous offer to Guk-Hui.

Penggwyn Feb 09 2025 3:46 pm Stellar performance from a talented cast. SJK never fails. I understand the low ratings. Yes, the actors are amazing, but the writing is just not that good. The movie failed to explain why we should care about the characters. This could have been amazing as a 12-episode series, but as a movie, it feels somewhat lacking.

Saki Feb 05 2025 5:40 am Boring. His character is just mixed between vincenzo, reborn rich and loh ki wan. The story, well I dropped it after 15 -20 menit. I think SJK should try to explore different genre or character.

Gi Feb 04 2025 4:27 am If you love reborn Rich and Vincenzo , Bogota has just slice it into two..Song Junkie love him more here. From struggling foreign from Korea to Citizens of Bogota Colombia , he is really a different level of action and wow his Spanish is so fluent. Must watch. The film is amazing all the actors are all in sync .
