Tsumeko Takano (Nanao) carries herself confidently and speaks with a calm voice. Even though she appears very competent, which helped her pass her job interview at her current company with ease, she is shockingly incompetent. She doesn't know how to turn on a computer or use a copier machine. When it comes to negotiating with clients, her aura of competence allows her to gain their trust and close contracts one after the other.

Meanwhile, Michito Hiwada is a rookie employee who joined the company at the same time as Tsumeko Takano. Unlike Tsumeko Takano, Michito Hiwada is actually good at his job but he appears to be incompetent. He is forced to team up with Tsumeko Takano.

Roflkooter Aug 27 2025 4:06 pm A surprisingly very entertaining show. Don't take it too serious and just enjoy. As long as you aren't mentally as stupid as the commentator "Irene Ashfield". She really thought it is unrealistic that she can't to basic stuff, when the show is called "Talentless" it is absurd on purpose and the absurdity paired with the realistic office background is what makes it interesting and fun.

Hara Jan 02 2025 10:03 pm I watched it out of curiosity. It was fine at first, but as the series progress I felt less and less interested on this. Instead of talentless, Takano is more like a super lucky woman, like she's wrapped in a luckiness cocoon. Her talentlessness was fun to watch at some points but the rest was ridiculously absurd. The last episode was the hardest to watch.

Irene Ashfield Jan 02 2025 8:06 pm Very disappointing as it is hard to believe that Takano, at her age, would not know the simple office procedures. How would anyone hire someone to staple documents? Very unrealistic and I thought that Takano was an AI.
