Mona Jan 25 2022 1:11 am I just watched this short drama and then so touched on the storyline and acting skills of both leaders. The plot isn’t cliche at all sometimes the sudden feeling could happen to anyone no matter of age. It’s such brilliant to show the identical feeling of Hyerim and her dad towards the unexpected affection. The end scene was killing me, so perfect about dialogue, music and location. Soo bin, she’s very good this kind of love-story dramas. But the rookie, Jang Dong Yoon I’m so impressed on his works including this one. I just know him as Nokdu recently and then I am searching his other works. Please have season two for this drama, it’s gonna be blast.

Janz May 06 2020 8:03 am I watched it because my jinyoung is in there. Actually both Jinyoung and Dong Yoon are my crushes so it was a combination. But Jinyoung is just daebak, I wish Jinyoung would get a lead role for a next projects, im tired of only seeing him as a second lead.

Jujube Jul 18 2018 10:17 am Just want to say, it's giSeok not giSeok! Ffs, I was really irritated reading some of u pronounce his character name wrongly. At first I thought it was just a typo but some of u just continuously pronounced his name as gideok. Its giseok okay!

And, it wasn't Dongkyung's mom that Haerim's father has an affair with, if I'm not mistaken. His mom just help Haerim's father to choose a gift for his gf. I think his gf is some other young piano teacher.

jjongwol Feb 25 2018 6:21 am when I watch the ending, I was quite confuse of who haerim really loves. but I guess she's probably loving kiseok - since she can't keep herself being worried over the sick kiseok, or very hurtful to be ignored by kiseok and she keeps watching kiseok's window every night, wishing that kiseok will ring her bell.

as the reason why she can't receive kiseok's love, I think she's scared. Bcs she saw his father having an affair he can't helped but to, as a young high schooler she's simply scared to be in a relationship. so she lied to kiseok, saying that she fell for dongkyung at the first sight. but kiseok knows the truth, that's why he's saying to haerim as he gave a video of haerim practicing basketball despite she hates PE subject "I think the reason why you are so bad at basketball is because you don't love it. You pretend to love it and try your hard to do it, but your heart doesn't like it so you can't succeed." he refers to haerim's lied that she can't return kiseok love because she already fell for dongkyung.

but in the end kiseok doesn't push or force his love, so he's just hugs haerim, because they both know that a tight hug ending means that the story doesn't end, it feels like it can be continued to the next phase. so yeah, their story hasn't ended yet.

but it's 1 episode length drama, so there won't be a sequel. the director just likes to fool us, giving a cliffhanger ending as he taught as it's also an ending too.

Although the other guy made her heart flutter, she does not date him for she feels guilty to giseok. The ending was truly perfect; a tight hug, although between friends at the time, has the potential to develop into something more later. The point is that it is not goodbye; in life timing and other factors may make you change your mind, but you’ll always find your way back home and into the arms of someone you love. :)<3

As she said, a hug means that the story continues, so do the story of the pair's life and love also continues. This means that ending up with each other in the future is a possibility despite the fact that the other guy made her heart flutter. The other guy just had perfect timing. He was there when she saw her father with a lady; he had an umbrella for her when it rained; and he was there at that life-crushing moment when she saw her father at the pianist's studio. Since at that time, Gideok had not made his move yet, she kinda favored the other guy. But they are high school kids. The decisions that young people make at that stage are not always the correct ones. Once they mature, Gideok may still get that kiss...

The drama is too short some of the scene did not sink in to me like when Hye rim's father gave a scarf on her mom her face suddenly looks sad and then she went to the piano studio. And also the ending. Hye rim looks so broken hearted when Gi seok ignored him for a long time. And when she finally saw him at the train station she became teary eyed like a tear of joy. Gi seok gave her the sweet ending that she wanted. Did she ended up with dong kyung? Because there wasn't a scene where it was confirmed. Or at the time that gi seok ignored hye rim. Hye rim finally realized that she love gi seok?

Jesana Oct 22 2017 10:24 am Hae-Rim loved Ki-Seok but when Dong-Kyung appears, she began having feelings for him too. She literally feels like her father because yes, her father loved her mother but when he met Dong-Kyung's mother, he started having feelings for her too. The phone call Hae-Rim made at the end was to Dong-Kyung. As much as I pity Ki-Seok, sometimes he acted childish. For instance, when Dong-Kyung was playing soccer in front of Hae-Rim, Ki-Seok got jealous (of course I don't blame him). However, he ended up hurting Dong-Kyung and in the end trying to show off in front of his crush back fired. Then, just because Hae-Rim turned Ki-Seok down, he ignored her. You can't blame her for not choosing you. Then we come to the argument of, go for the boy who was with you through everything or a boy who showed up suddenly and takes your breath away? Dong-Kyung was honest and humble whereas I think Ki-Seok waited too long to confess. There are people who claim Hae-Rim didn't want to be in a relationship with Ki-Seok because she's afraid he'll cheat on her like what her father, but thing is, can't Dong-Kyung do the same to her too? In the end, I really had second lead syndrome despite me having a thing for childhood sweethearts. Dong-Kyung was just too sweet. I'm glad his reason for liking her wasn't "because you're pretty", unlike some other dramas I will not name. At the end of the day, I suppose there isn't a reason to like someone. It happens.

season Oct 08 2017 9:58 am After watched this with a proper subtitle, finally I understand about the story. I think that Hyerim likes Dong Yoon from the first time they meet at "the wall incident", but she also knows that Ki Seok has feeling for her. Ki Seok is a precious person to Hyerim, Hye Rim doesn't want to hurt him so she reject Dong Yoon's confession. But after his Dad scandal, she realize that she couldn't help to like Dong Yoon and feel sorry for Ki Seok (as Dad told her that actually he wanted to stop his feeling for that woman but he couldn't help to like her). Because she feels that she betraying Ki Seok, so she avoid him and tell him that actually she has feeling for Dong Yoon since wall incident (although Hye Rim and Dong Yoon also did not end up together). But we could see the ending that Ki Seok and Hye Rim hugh tightly which tell us that their story will not end right there but still has continuation.. (like Hye Rim told Ki Seok that she prefers movie ending with a hug scene to warm the heart) ?

Sandy Jay Oct 08 2017 9:16 am This is a very sweet story actually..some angst here and there in the right places..and like every Drama Special,there will be always some lessons and twists. The ending is not sad actually..more like a bittersweet ending.I was rooting for the main male lead then the second(which is one of the reason i like this movie).The movie can get confusing,so to avoid that,one must have a great subtitles (dont understand korean language) and focus to some details(i guess) hahha

Nancy Oct 08 2017 9:14 am @Ran Me too, but it seems Soo Bin's dad turns out to have feelings for Dong Yoon's mom or they had an affair which she thought at first that it's her dad and Jin Young's mom having an affair when she followed them. Jin Young confess that he likes Soo Bin but she turned him down because she likes Dong Yoon. While DY ask her to meet him at the park coz he'll confess that he likes her, it didn't happen coz SB caught her dad and DYs mom at the piano studio before supposedly meeting him. She didn't tell him the situation. So when DY confronted her about distancing herself, she just said she started to like JY when she fell off the wall then DY distanced himself to her. But in the latter part, when SBs leaving for Seoul, DY appeared and he already knows and said sorry to SB and tightly hug her which reminds SB that she likes a hug in the ending of the movie than a kiss coz it's heart warming and it's still not the end. So sad, they like each other but the situation is complicated. That's what I understand of the story. It's a nice drama.
