A plastic surgeon and a detective form a unique bond as they work on cases together.

Cha Jung-Woo (Lee Min-Ki) is a top plastic surgeon with an attractive appearance and elite skills. He has experience in both plastic surgery and emergency medicine. When he sees a patient's injury, he can quickly visualize the circumstances of the accident and the treatment method necessary. He is also cold with patients and does not usually connect emotionally with them. He gradually changes when he meets Detective Lee Min-Hyung (Han Ji-Hyun).

Lee Min-Hyung is detective who works in the violent crimes department. She is fearless, confident, and empathetic to victims. She is also passionate about catching criminals. She meets Cha Jung-Woo, who suddenly volunteers to support crime victims. She gets close to him and begins to understand the wound held deep in his mind that he has never revealed to anyone. Other people around Cha Jung-Woo include Plastic Surgeon Han Woo-Jin (Lee Yi-Kyung), who is his friend, and Plastic Surgeon Kim Seok-Hoon (Jeon Bae-Su), who is his mentor.

Jillibean Dec 19 2025 11:25 pm This drama was one of the best dramas of 2024! I loved the suspense, the acting, especially by both leads, and the OST was daebak! I was never once bored; it kept me guessing throughout. Naysayers are not quite right in the head. Lol

Not An Igutu Sep 07 2025 4:04 am Intwresting storyline and plot but fairly executed because of the female lead, the policewoman. Her acting is sooo bad i cant continue to watch. No skill and soul at all. So cringe. Spoil the whole mood to watch the series. Urghh such a bad experience I'm gonna skip all other dramas and movies with her as a cast. Another thing, too many flashbacks. In the end, i fast forward to watch the ending only. Doesn't miss anything much.

Plus we did get that hint of romance to come that Jillibean hoped for in her comment. That was sweet, after all the angst that came before.

Erra Mar 03 2025 11:18 pm The drama is good. The character played by Lee Min Ki is similar with the character he played in Crash, about a person who is brigh but got past trauma. I kinda enjoying finishing each episode. But i think episode 11 and 12 can be eliminated and put the story in episode 9 and 10. Not too much progress in the last 2 episodes.

Jillibean Dec 14 2024 10:42 am I loved the drama and I'm usually not a big fan of murder mysteries. But this cast was excellent and the 12 episodes were ample to bring us a great story at a good pace. Definitely an A+ from me!

Anonymous Dec 07 2024 2:17 pm @AiwaLu But we saw she wasn't cheating just like him seeing himself in his flashback wasn't him being a culprit. They are misdirects. She was being stalked and photographed in platonic situations all deliberately twisted to make it look like cheating. All to force CJW to break up with her but their relation is shown stronger than such trivialities. On her laptop the photo suggests she found out who it was but she kept it a secret. It's more likely HWJ's a pawn. He looks depressed, always lived in CJW's shadow all his life and as the mother's beneficiary maybe he does whatever she tells him or what he thought she wanted him to do to keep CJW from marrying the girl. Either HWJ is in love with CJW himself since their schooldays or a half-brother the mother grudgingly took in. The police also suggest that neither the fiance neither NHJ's knife wounds were actually instantly fatal which points away from a practising surgeon unless it is to imply reluctance.

Aj Dec 05 2024 12:13 pm Tame theory- Woojin did it out of misguided love and jealousy for Jungwoo and their mother and hated Hyejin Wild theory- Hyejin was a lovechild and half-sister Detective Conan style and all three of the doctors are involved in various stages and are guilty in some way or other.

Jillibean Nov 29 2024 8:00 pm They are trying so hard to make us think Dr. Cha killed his sweetheart that you know it's just a writer's deflection to keep you wondering who else it could be who is the real killer. Lol. The only time in this drama Dr. Cha has ever smiled is in flashbacks when he's with his sweetheart who died tragically. In the present day scenes he never smiles. In addition I am glad they aren't focusing on any romance between the leads. The main theme is the suspense over finding out who the real killer could be. In one moment in episode 8 someone mentioned a person running from a crime scene who was wearing glasses. But the masked person who we see killing the sweetheart wasn't wearing glasses. Hmm. The plot thickens. And by the way I loved Nam Gyu Ri's funny cameo appearance in the drama. She added some much needed humor to the story. I have loved her since 49 Days (2011).

ps Nov 29 2024 3:34 pm Is it weird I suspect nurse Yang even though shes completely in the clear? She seemed odd. The suspense is real because all I can keep thinking is isn't U-jin too obvious and again think but he is the most likely culprit so why doesn't he have the scars? In one of the mirrors on day of accident in hospital seemed like someone wearing round glasses ran by. Is it the senior doctor if not U-jin? Also I wonder why Dr Cha chose plastic surgery. Is there a mystery there? His fiance was a dancer according to the character summary in korean.

Jillibean Nov 29 2024 2:27 am Definitely one of the most suspenseful Korean dramas I've watched. Quite addicted to this one. It's going to be hard waiting for the next few episodes. Lol. I almost wish I had waited to start this one till all the episodes were completed so I could marathon watch it.

anon Nov 28 2024 11:55 am I know its more likely if Woo Jin is the culprit he was having an affair or in love with Jung Woo's lover but what if Jung Woo was Woo Jin's love and is obsessed with him? Right now instead of coming back to connect to the Hye Jin case , the connection between Nam Gi Taek, Lee Jin Seok and others just keeps on increasing the number of evidence and cases without being connected yet? And how those three doctors are who volunteered with these patients in prison and one of them must have with Nam Gi Taek.

I just finished Epi 2 and I really like the flow of the drama and cliffhanger ending that makes me want to immediately watch the next episode. Still hoping you get better ratings since its only Epi 6 right now. Aja!

Jillibean Nov 22 2024 4:03 pm Intense drama with very cool camera work. Min Ki Lee is a perfect cast pick for this role. Leading lady is good but honestly I think an older actress with more gravitas would have been better. I will keep watching to see if I change my mind.
