Three months ago, Shunpei Akagi (Daiki Shigeoka) became a single father. He has raised his 5-year-old son Haru (Haruto Sato) alone since that time. He is busy taking care of Haru and also working for small publishing company Eggplant. One day, Shunpei Akagi happens to meet his childhood friend Sousuke Osanai (Taiga Nakano), who runs an old okonomiyaki restaurant. Shunpei Akagi tells his friend about the difficulties he has as a single parent.
Sousuke Osanai then gets an idea. He would like to gather single parents and their kids through SNS and live together in a share house above his restaurant. They would help each other as parents. Shunpei Akagi thinks that the idea is ridiculous and nobody will respond to his offer. One night, Sousuke Osanai receives a phone call from Rei Momota (Fumino Kimura), who is a teacher and a single mother to 5-year-old Shizuku (Ririsa Miyazaki).
