Yu Fukuda (Kazuya Ohashi) is in the 2nd grade of middle school. His female classmate Satomi, sitting next to him, is troubled by her mechanical pencil lead being broken. Yu Fukuda puts his case of mechanical pencil lead on her desk. Satomi suddenly cuts her eraser in half. She writes "thank you" on an eraser piece and gives it to him. At that moment, he falls in love with her. His 13 years of love story begins.
