Okamura (Dai Watanabe), Shiroyama (Masayuki Deai), Kamimura (Yuka Takeshima), Takayama (Kenta Uchino) and Ito (Satoshi Judai) all attend a meeting group for wine fans. They gather together to enjoy wine from all over the world and exchange information about the various wines. They believe wine from Japanese grapes are less flavorful than French grapes. The group then encounter Kikyogahara Merlot which is one of the world's best. Kikyogahara Merlot is made by Usuke Asai (Isao Hashizume). The wine group admire Usuke Asai and become absorbed in winemaking.
