Winter 2013, Yong-Joon (Kim Tae-Hoon) and Jae-Sung (Choi Jae-Sung) are North Korean soldiers. They are caught in an intimate together in an outpost near the DMZ line. Yong-Joon decides to flee to South Korea, leaving Jae-Sung behind.

2 years later in South Korea, Yong-Joon dates Tae-Kyu (Shin Won-Ho), but he misses his country of North Korea. One day, Jae-Sung flees to South Korea. Yong-Joon is conflicted between his former boyfriend Jae-Sung and his current boyfriend Tae-Kyu.

Jil Feb 12 2021 9:00 am Hmmm, what should i say? I know that people tend to be complicated so i would say this is a good movie. The writer is very good however, for some reason, i find it lacking. But the cast did justice to their roles.

And oh, one last, why is it that most movies involving same sex should end in a bad way? I just dont get it. Not sole refering to this movie, but most of the movies i watch involving same sex.

Maru May 07 2020 12:44 am The MC is kinda indecisive , in my opinion. If you have a lover in the present, but met your past then have a good closure. Dont leave whether of them hanging , and just waiting who would you choose. This applies to all kind of relationship, its very irresponsible of you to not draw the line between your past and present.

Aiiisssshhh. 1 to 10 , Ill give it a 7. Good watch. I dont have a problem with the cinematography. I think its more on the content, the conflict is non stop and it ended without being solved.

Sugar and Salt Apr 22 2020 7:18 pm I'm not a fan of the storytelling and direction. It's generally doesn't feel captivating except in a few parts and much of it feels like padding rather than any movement. I also dislike the censoring of sex scenes etc... and the three boys all looked very different in terms of age. The camerawork is a little annoying as well.

However, the main lead is quite pretty and he is probably the main reason why people click on the movie to watch. The story itself does have potential as well

Due to the breaching of the natural phenomena of sexual orientation (meaning man and woman relation for sex is concurrently identified as the formal one all around the globe with the binding traditional culture and religious believes. I ne'er watch BL movies and series as I am very sensitive. So do the same feeling due to One Summer Night.

Nicole May 02 2017 5:56 am I watched this movie, and the storyline was a bit choppy but overall it was a good watch with great acting, the 2 main leads had chemistry.

it is also very explicit
