A story about the love and friendships of students who reside at an international university dormitory.

Se-Wan (Park Se-Wan) is a teaching assistant and she is in charge of managing the international students at the dormitory. She has a bright personality. Students residing at the dormitory include Jamie (Shin Hyun-Seung), who is a U.S. citizen. Sam (Choi Young-Jae) is a Korean-Australian. His father is the chairman of a ttokbokki restaurant chain. Minnie (Minnie) is a Thai citizen. She loves to watch Korean drama series. Hyun-Min (Han Hyun-Min) is a Korean student and, thus, not eligible to stay at the international dormitory. Because of his exhausting commutes to school, he wishes to stay at the dormitory.

serraaa Aug 30 2023 6:55 am this series was quite funny and i agreed with them who called the vibes was also similar with waikiki. unfortunately i didnt like the romance scenes between male and female lead (jamie & sewan, cuz i think they were too much, too cringe:(). dont forget to mention carson and hyunmin characters, they're hilarious!

Fairuz Feb 12 2023 4:41 am Just like the title it's so not worth it. The only bearable ones are the two main lead, hyunmin and Carson. Others are just diversity hire with no talent. It's like watching student assignment for language class not even from art students. It thread inbeteween making it your regular weekly sitcom and a netflix special. And failed at both. Laugh track in this 21st century?! What is this? Big bang theory?

Although I don't really like Sewan and Jaime. I need to quote on the other characters when Sewan-Jaime's scenes appear: Stop it! It's annoying.

If I wanted to be told when to laugh, I'd just watch those lame American sitcoms. I really wanted to like this kdrama because of it's diverse cast... but it feels too much like the American sitcoms that's been force fed to me for decades.

doldol Jul 09 2021 7:15 am sam/youngjae was not wearing a swastika earring. it's a buddist earring and that is the buddhism symbol. youngjae wears earrings like that often and uneducated haters always try to get at him and cancel him. the swastika is opposite of the buddhism symbol. and also another thing is that buddhism and the buddhism symbol has existed way before nazis have.

Jiehoon Jun 21 2021 12:00 pm It's actually Sooo Worth Itto watch this!! It's so fun and the comedy is not cringy. The laughter effect is because this is a sitcom, like western sitcoms, they add laughter effect.

The actors are also very good given they are newbies. My favorite character is Carson!!!

vee Jun 21 2021 11:52 am you can't reply to comments so to any previous comments mentioning youngjae's earring. swastikas existed and still exist in many different cultures throughout the world. it is a divine symbol in buddhism, hinduism and jainism. this symbol existed long before the nazi's took it and perverted it. youngjae is a buddhist. this symbol is a part of his religion. there is nothing wrong with him wearing it.

I think in a series meant to be diverse culture-wise and meant to be seen by a lot of people from different countries they should take into consideration the appropriateness of even small details that can be offensive and misleading in European culture for example. People should know the meaning of the symbols instead of carelessly wearing them and spreading misleading information.

John Jun 20 2021 2:28 pm wow! this show is really good, I cringed a lot but it was still hilarious especially scenes with hyun nim, she wan and Jamie relationship was cute and really nice, also it was really great to see many people of different nationalities and race, I never Korean shows could be this matured especially topics on race, cyber bullying, plastic surgery etc, didn't like the background laughter tho, the show could have done without that! hopefully we get a season 2

Tamar Jun 19 2021 4:50 pm This drama is so good.. i keep being amazed! Its been a long time coming for foreigners in natural roles in a kdrama but im so happy and so proud this drama pulled it off! The laugh track is not bothersome at all. The format is like a sitcom where goofy stuff happens but its very entertaining! All of the foreign actors are REALLY good, better than some domestic korean kdrama actors tbh! Hats off to them!! Carson yoa kim minnie and terris! Brava! I love how they talk about things other kdramas dont tackle as easily like mothers with several baby daddies and mlm crushes but also adult relationships between students. This is a great light kdrama with star studded cameos. I recommend it to everyone and i hope they make a season two~

I also like how they highlight issues like cyberbullying, how authorities sometimes cover up a big issue by blowing up another issue, and also some other social issues. Would really recommend this one
