The top North Korean scientists on nuclear weapons go missing in a third country. Several countries have vested interest in finding the scientists first. South Korea sends NIS agent Chae Eun-Seo and North Korean defector Park Hoon as a team to find the scientists. In front of them, mysterious girl Song Chae-Yool appears.

Ju Ji-Hoon was first offered the lead male role, but declined.
Ha Ji-Won was first cast for the lead female role, but dropped out of the drama series prior to the start of production.

A kdrama fan Sep 29 2018 2:42 am I was hoping Ju Ji Hoon would accept this role because HJW and JJH are extraordinary actors. but i think this role is crafted for HJW and only focuses on female lead and will kind of overshadow the male actor. that's why actors like Lee Jong Suk, Jung woo sung, Song joonki, lee joongi, and park seo jun are avoiding this role.

The lead guy to make this perfect drama, should've been LEE HYUNG GI. They both do most of their stunts and can be funny and serious at the same time.You can't win them all. As long is her it will all be good.

fan Jul 08 2018 8:20 am I guess this the most anticipated drama of HJW's actions lovers recently. As a foreign fan, I feel her as a beautiful person of inner and outside. And her dedication, is admirable always when she gets a new project. As well, when she is in a drama, that drama shines. She has that kind of aura. I've heard, that almost of her drama co actors start to shine more than ever after appearing with her. And I see it as truth, coz most of her co stars could not garner that much of popularity in their earlier projects. And also, I guess some actors rejects her drama bcz they are afraid that they will be invisible to viewers coz of her strong aura to catch viewers eyes. Finally so happy she accepted this and now waiting to see it impatiently...

guess22 Jul 04 2018 9:07 pm @HJW fan i totally agree with you that its good for HJW to take up this project not so much for her to get more fame but rather to help her move on after the sudden loss of her dad and brother within just two years. Its not good for anyone who suffers such tragic loss withdraws from life. Even if the ratings (which many used to determine a drama's success) is not as high as it sets out to achieve its okay. Im more concerned for her well being than anything else. Im seeing this project as part of her healing journey. Having said this im sure this drama shld be great, theres no doubt abt it.

And also, it's not good if she stays away from work for so long due to her loss (brother) coz she will suffer the evil depression due to those kind of things. Therefore, she must return to work and it will slowly help her to keep her sadness away from her too. As well, among all the korean dramas Iris and Athena were at the top of the best detective, crime genre dramas ever. And if this is gonna be accepted by HJW, no more worries, this is gonna be the topped detective, spy, crime drama ever. (best of the best) I think she is gonna accept it, cos if she was gonna decline it she could do it as soon as she got the offer. but she didn't. she is considering means, there is still a hope that she is gonna accept it. And yes we missed Iris, Athena like excellent dramas for so long. So pls fill that gap Director, Producer, Script Writer.
