Kengo Okada (Yutaka Takenouchi) works at an aquarium. He has a secret to keep if it means sacrificing everything he has.

Risa Makihara (Aya Ueto) works at a hostess bar to repay her brother's debt. She tries to commit suicide, before Kengo Okada stops her. Afterwards, these two people get into a contractual marriage without love. The ambivalent feelings these two people have for each other start to change...

roberthstiver Mar 18 2018 12:28 am I really, really liked the TV drama "Nagareboshi" when it aired, with English subtitles, in Hawaii in (?) 2013. I thought Ms. Ueto's and Mr. Takenouchi's acting superb throughout, and the romantic suspense made my old heart ache! Daisuki deshita!

Kris Jan 20 2018 7:40 pm This is such a touching story. I'm just sad there wasn't much admission of the main characters' feelings for each other. :))) Despite the age gap, Aya and Yutaka has such great chemistry. Aya is so beautiful and so is Yutaka.

Clarkdale44 Jan 06 2014 8:36 am Well decent drama about the contract marriage of two people... Decent casting but cinematography and direction was great. Although the plot was predictable... I still hate it when everything happens in last 10 minutes. Well anyway i will recommend this show to everyone. I will give it 5.7/10 (For great storyline,cinematography, direction and decent casting)

Hunju Aug 24 2011 7:23 pm I came to this drama for Aya (of course!) and neither she nor Yutaka let me down. Currently on episode 7. I hate the brother, so far, but Aya-chan is visually stunning and convincing on the acting side. I like the mom and sister also. J-dramas are so great when they don't let too much artsy stuff get in the way. If everybody lives and goes home happy, then so will I...
