Especially in scenes where the friends are in bed together and hugging each other, that is pretty normal in our culture to do that as friends. After all you could have shown them a reunion will all their families and meeting each other on Teak's birthday as they usually do(in their elderly age). Then seeing Junghwan happy might not left any pain in heart for the viewers. It felt like their friendship memories ended there. Everything from the start to the end was great. I love how these series teach me a lot of things. The prose is also very inspiring in all three. I am also very happy with how Reply 1988 ended. You kept me on the edge of my seat from the start, and the ending really left me content and happy. Inconsistencies, how the character didn't act the way their character should be to meet the ending you and the Reply 1988 team wants to. I'm very sure there's a lot of important things to consider, for example how to boost the ratings, but i really hope the next reply series would be better, Sir. I hope you considered us the fans, who really love and enjoy the series (not just because some famous & handsome actor joined the cast). And sad to see that people are so hateful because you can't deal with life. Life is tough, some people are pitiful, some are pure lucky, some are just so good, but can't express it and others are lousy, but still people will prefer them. And that's what this writer wanted to convey through the Reply series. It's about life, relationships, love, friendships, heartbreaks, rough paths and so on.... and it would be so unrealistic if everyone got a happy ending at the end of the episode, because life is not like that, believe it or not. As a viewer of all three Reply series I understand that only 1994 and 1988 got the hate for the ending. I don't blame anyone, you jumped into one ship, and when it sank it was heartbreaking. Same for me, I am team Jung Hwan. I love him, will always do, but I don't hate Reply 1988. This was such a beautiful drama. The only advice I'd like to give this writer is please pre-produce it from the future Reply series onwards and sit down and watch it before releasing it on television. The amount of plot holes 1988 had was unbelievable!!! Till the last episode I can point out 20 reasons why JH was supposed to be the husband. I like how 1994 ended because it was so clear, and the clues tied up in the end of why Trash was the husband. But that just did not happen with 1988. It clearly shows how the writer was influenced by Park Bo Gum fans... But even after all that I'm still hoping for another series. I just loved how intricate the characters were in 1988. And I hope as she writes more, it'll keep getting better. 1988 had a beautiful story to tell, not only of the five friends, but also the adults. 1988 is my favourite drama of all time, and it's the best drama till date, inspite of the shaky ending. Thanks for the beautiful and meaningful drama. I love this series of all three, and well, its the first drama i have ever replayed many times, also thanks to their awesome actings, and the twist of the series, made it successful. First drama ever I couldnt choose whom I would love the lead female to be with, but I think Taek being husband is a great ending. It was just hard to some people following JH from the beginning seeing him heart broken, and so do I. Though the sheep sounds got a little out of hand, I still liked them. It's frustrating to think of the commercialization of Korean dramas - that singers defy those traditional disciplinary boundaries to become actors, and it seems to often be a popularity and revenue boosting plan of action, even if sometimes singers really do want to pursue a career in acting. However, I feel like the casts of both dramas were incredible...and I laughed so much watching both dramas because the writing was witty, and the characters real, raw, and memorable. Thank you for writing such a great script.
