Hannah Dec 14 2020 1:40 pm Lee Joong-Ki isn't an amazing singer. But he isn't bad either. So I think he will do well if they use his voice. BUT. Since this is about Yoo Jae-Ha, they may just have Joong-Ki lip-sync to his voice.

I respect Song Joong Ki and I love him in DOTS but tbh I don’t think he’s suitable to play this role. Maybe in other roles perhaps. Not to say he’s an awful singer, but I think it’s better to be safe that the directors and screenwriters get someone like Lee Seung-gi who can actually sing and act. But, nonetheless, whoever replaces SJK will be great as well. No hate, just my opinion

LKB May 26 2020 4:54 am Not going to lie, I really wanted this, especially given its storyline and the music, to be something w/actors like Jung Kyung Ho and Ji Hyun Woo who can fully take on the role of musicians and do it well. The two lads, even though they passed early, didn't look like a mid-20's and early 30's duo especially, so that's not a real necessity, but having heard JKH and JHW sing while playing guitar live and Song Joong Ki sing with others playing the instruments, I guess if it were me-a musician-being depicted on screen, I'd want people who sing and play well, pretty simple request. Otherwise, it's a bit, well, Milli Vanilli (but at least MV could sing; they just didn't for some bizarre reason, probably their accents being too thick or something)... SJK's singing just isn't great, even really easy songs way out of tune. Nerves are possibly part of it, but it just isn't his talent/skill. I'd rather they pick musicians who happen to be great actors or actors who happen to be great musicians. There are plenty of them in SK who are or at least look the approximate age range for it.

I do like that Kim Hye Jun is getting this role, whatever it entails. After Kingdom, I'll be very happy to see a normal 20-something role for her, especially a cute lovely in love 20-something. Her screen time in Kingdom might constitute psychological torture if someone's been otherwise undergoing sensory deprivation and sleep deprivation then suddenly is exposed to prolonged scenes of her character toward the end of S2!! :P

So my fav rookie actress all have got project with SJK 1. Kim Tae Ri got one project movie with SJK Spaceship Factory. But the movie hasn't released yet. Only teaser has released. Also Jin Seon Kyu got reunion movie project again with Song Joong Ki. Space Ship Factory and now this movie 2. Kim Hye Jun.. Now She Will Act Together With SJK. I Am So Excited. I really like her since her movie Methamorphosis started. And she ever became Running Man's guest. She was became the Cruel Queen in Kingdom Season 2 Netflix
