A man (Masaki Aiba) identifies himself as “Kizoku” ("Aristocrat") and works as a private detective for a hobby. Nobody knows his age, address or anything about his family. The actual deductions and investigations are carried out by his employees including his butler, maid and chauffeur. He only has a good time talking to the women involved in the cases.

Meanwhile, Aika Takatoku (Emi Takei) works as a private detective. She competes with the Aristocrat Detective to solve cases.

I like most the concept actually it's not that complex but it's not that simple so sweet and great mysterious drama also little bit funny... Please if u didn't watch, watch it now! sleuth Sep 02 2018 8:27 am This is a great mystery series. If you like mysteries definitely check this one out. It has plot twist and turns. The crime reenactments are hilarious. Namase Katsuhisa is very funny in this series. Liked him in the Legal High series as well. Emi Takei did a great job. She's one of my favorites. Great cast. Must watch it. Hope a second season happens. Also this comment was typed by my assistants. As a noble I have no need for troublesome things like commenting on AsianWiki. Lol.

M&M Jul 16 2017 9:51 am The last episode = WTF. Aika solves one case. ONE. OUT OF MANY. And suddenly she's a real detective, without any desire to proof that she stand on her own two feet when investigating a case (not relying on the servants' finding, for one). Detective Kiriko, whom she share a close relationship with and whom she think was dead for almost 11 episodes, only share a shitty conversation with her ("You solve one case, doesn't make you a real detective but who cares, I'm going to Italy to marry some rich aristocrat, ciao) And the ending is super WTF, especially the part where she suddenly agrees to having an adventure with Gozen after seeing that he's a major womanizer who flirt with every female within sight and his habit of putting down her abilities as a detective at any chance given. A realistic response would be "You rest assure the answer to that question will always be no." The only salvation is the last scene, where Hana sees the empty tent so I can pretend the entire series is Hana's imagination. Give me back my precious (more or less) 11 hours!

let me tell you something. japanese drama tend to use default setting for drama. only few tv production change those setting. for example wowow channel tend to use dark and gray.

only romantic drama using bright and popup color or music video.

to make the video better, tv production need to hired post production team whose expert to change the color. tv and movies are not the same as smartphone app. smartphone app only capable to use filter. tv and movies need computer software.

korean show and drama has this advantaged because korean government help korean entertainment by giving them budget to those entertainment company

Blunt May 29 2017 9:44 pm I've always wondered: Do the Japanese intentionally use old cameras to shoot their dramas? Compared to Korean dramas, the colors are so washed out, and the image so grainy, as if the lens was covered with dust.
