District 820 is a military border area between South Korea and North Korea. South Korean Second Lieutenant Kwon Jin-Gyeong (Park Grina) graduated from the South Korean military academy at the top of her class. She goes along with 3 members from her group along the last patrol of field training.
Meanwhile, Joon-Im (Ha Eun-Sul) and her friends from the university photography club go out to take photos. They get lost and stumble upon District 820. The group then hears a gunshot and become frightened.
Second Lieutenant Kwon Jin-Gyeong and her group also hear the gunshot and try to find the location where the gunshot occurred. People in her group disappear one by one.
