Nenabunena Dec 03 2021 12:43 pm Tweens complaining that the father is 70 despite looking 34 yet went gaga over the Guardian pairing which is what 800yr difference? Or that Twilight franchise that has a 100 plus age difference. Hypocrisy at it's best.

And to the other poster there, Ha Soo was never the son's girl. She always liked Ha Kyun more, besides they have better chemistry, he's a better actor, great smile, and infinitely better looking than the son whose eyes are too far apart.

I started watching for lee joon and had really low expectations since most of the comments were harsh but i was surprised cause i actually really liked it! Had no problem with the leads. I think everyone did a great job! Feels like Im the only one positive about this drama >.<

Berry Oct 09 2017 11:55 am Great drama, I don't know y people stress the age matter, old guys do have a right to fall in love n with a younger lady when given a chance, he never acted greedy or selfish, he was always ready to let her go for his sonz sake n for him t was a novel experience, he wasn't able to fully love b4...so I wish some of the complainants here, go re-watch this drama without bias..

lrt Jun 13 2017 6:12 pm The first few episodes were great and then until the end, just seemed like a bunch of time fillers. I love love love Shin Ha-Kyun but why do they try to give everyone the 3 stooges hairdo when it's not for everyone. It made him look soooo bad!!! ... when he really is sooooo handsome. Great cast but for me the middle fell short and so I skipped over it.

I was kind of gross with the love line between Eun Ha Soo and Choi Shin Young because the fact that he's actually 70 years old >.< I appreciate the bromance and I like Manager Hong's loyalty. I suspected Director Jung and turns out he's the main ass so I was right all along lol. Nara is so cute I hope to see her more on another drama.

Kira Jul 25 2016 10:08 pm Im sorry but I have to leave a comment for this story. Usually I won't but I have to. I understand some people still stand up for this drama but I don't think I could. I mean, I know age is just a number but he is 70 for god sake. Eventhough he has turn 34 (which did not seems so at all. He seems like 40+), I still feel like it is quite unnecessary for his love line with jang Nara. Writer could have make another plot that I think is far better. They could have wrote that he came back to finish or fix something. They should have leave or let jang Nara with lee joon instead. Ahhhh... I don't know. I have to admit I'm in love with this drama at first. The plot seems interesting but I can't help myself grossing out over the fact that a 70 years old grandfather are interested over a young girl. It just.... Doesn't make any sense to me at all. I'm sorry if I hurt anyone by my comment but I just think I have to point this out. Ah... I'm so disappointed right now.

Call me a romantic, but I loved that Shing Young survived and remained young, even if he did have to lose his memory. Hey it's fantasy and even in fantasy you can't have everything. But would be nice if they had an encore showing (Shing-Young and Eun Ha-Soo happiness; Dae Han and Ji yoon maybe marrying; amd Mr. Sung with his family). Guess you can see who my favorites were.

Noyunita94 Aug 05 2015 8:47 am Well... the ending wasn't really interesting for me... I got bored from the first 10 eps. The plot was actually appealing at first cause it's quite rare. Shin ha kyun did great for being an old man. He could potrait the character Choi Gobong so well but in the end... it lacks something logical even if the writers wanted to create such a scifi drama and related it in a good way... I think it's better to keep the 48 days-storyline with sad ending cause the opportunity choi go bong got was being alive a bit longer.

dana Jan 03 2015 7:04 am I watched the first ten episodes and could not bear any longer..and switched to pinnochio which is much more gripping and fresh..also I don't think shin ha kyun did a great job potrayin the old man specially so compared to his facial features as a very old man,his tone of speech and agility and body language were very much that of a young man

Davia Dec 28 2014 7:28 pm It's always surprising to me when a writer abandons the very premise that they formulate themselves. Why create a sci fi / mystery scenario if you are not able to solve or resolve it! Why leave the protagonist selfish and a lier to the end if you want to show that he or she has grown as a person!

If one doesn't care about these points and just wants a feel good show then this drama does offer that. The one message that was beautifully rendered is the importance of living and loving life fully.

Shin Ha Kyun does do an amazing job of playing an old man in a young body. And the drama is well acted until the last episode when Jang Na Ra surprisingly fails to evoke any real shock or feeling with regard to what happens therein.

Yes, you have to suspend your beliefs to buy into this love story that also ties in redemption and second chances. It's entertaining to watch the discovery of each character learn something about themselves as they also start to discover the real Mr. Choi. It's a coming of age story for Choi Dae Han and at the same time parallels Choi Go Bong. I also think the love relationship is quite plausible between Mr. Choi and Eun Ha Soo. He is still an old soul in a younger body and Eun Ha Soo is very much a traditionalist. I think this story is unique and while not completely off template, a good break from the regular k-drama romcom.

Mr Baek teamwork will be missed on next week, Jang Nara (singer and actress ), Shin Ha Kyun, Lee Joon, Park Ye Jin, Lee Moon Sik,.. and the 2 more great singers . The drama's was reasonable in each detail, chain to scene connection. Good luck in the next project everyone. Fighting. P/S: Everyone might like to see JJang couple in the previous three dramas ( Success's bright girl, FTLY and Old Goodbye ) therefore even though Shin Ha Kyun was the best actor, suitable with Jang Nara but not catching people's eyes up.

And since his son that he treated poorly also likes her, I think he should step back from it for that reason too. This drama just ugh... I don't understand why so many like it. At least there are a lot who think the same as me too. If they had made it more that the dad found the right woman for his son or something like that and the dad went back to being young to understand his son and where he went wrong in life more.

Dawn Dec 06 2014 5:16 am This drama just started to arid on MBC in my state...so I haven't seen what most of you have already seen. I really think is a great drama so far....its grabbed my attention. As far as ratings, it depends on what other dramas it's competing with in that time slot. People can be fickle viewers, so that doesn't mean anything. Im sure the drama has wrapped production, but I will say this anyways...the entire cast is beautiful, and well selected very high caliber for and MBC drama.
