Plot

Yeon-Wook's parents died in a car accident and she has been living with her elder sister. The world is too tough for two girls to live through but Yeon-Wook knows how to fight it and how to make the world smile at her. Just like the snow flakes soar lightly in the air, Yeon-Wook knows how to dust off her troubles. She makes the world smile at her and she knows how to make the cheers for her neighbors. And one day, she meets the toughest aspect in her life as she falls in love with the man her sister once loved. Through the deeper the pain of love, she will learn the more beautiful side of life.

Park Min Mar 22 2023 7:42 pm It was obvious what kind of route it was going to take. Given the circumstances and how it was structured from the beginning, it made sense. This is definitely not for everyone due to the subject but the writer did a decent job handling it over 17 episodes which felt like the write amount it needed without being over stretched. The cast also did a decent job to fit in their character.

lrt Feb 26 2019 4:00 pm I am on board with @Shoshele. Sometimes love doesn't come packaged wrapped up in a bow but is complex and drawing whether you like it or not. A teen crush and lack of a significant male role model as family can somehow make this situation understandable as two women come to love and depend on the same man. This is sensitively handled and well acted....and just goes to show how evil gossip and assumption can be. The writer wrote "My name is Kim Sam-Soon" ..one of my favorite dramas of all time.

Shoshele Nov 14 2017 10:57 am In stark contrast to the other three reviewers, I really loved this drama. The writing, the directing (especially the pacing) and the acting were all outstanding. The subject matter may not be to everyone's taste/values, but the treatment was very layered and nuanced. It's definitely a drama that I plan to rewatch.

KDramaFan Mar 23 2017 11:42 pm Also I forgot to add to what I wrote previously that it wasn't just any hot young rich guy, but one her age who treated her so well and loved her so much. I am glad I never invested in this series and only watched the end. Even regretted wasting that time b/c of the high user rating, but I was fooled and should have noticed how few number of raters there were.

Dianne Sep 03 2014 8:14 am I'm sorry I watched the entire drama. Still can't believe I did that. It was an extremely frustrating drama that began and ended with frustration. Kim Rae Won as Sung Joon, the boyfriend, was the only sane person in the entire cast. I wouldn't recommend anyone seeing this...
