Plot
Kyoko (Maiko Kawakami) is a nurse and her boyfriend Toyoki (Satoshi Jinbo) is an architect. They have lived together for eight years. One day, Toyoki meets and falls in love with a young lady, Tokiko (Sawako Kitahara) who is a daughter of a construction company's owner. They take the opportunity afforded by her pregnant to get married. After all, Kyoko is betrayed by Toyoki. Kyoko is so furious that she kidnaps Mayo, the baby born between Toyoki and Tokiko. Kyoko decides to name the baby Botan (Nanako Okochi), and starts raising Botan as her own child. Toyoki and Tokiko are broken-hearted, but the following year, Tokiko gives birth to a baby girl whom they name Kayo (Maju Ozawa). The devote themselves to love Kayo grow up not knowing each other.
