Yuta Konno (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) works at a food making company, but after an incident, quits his job as a salaryman and decides to enter medical school. By the age of 37, Yutta Konno becomes a doctor. As an intern, he begins to work at a university hospital. Some things seem strange to him, but common in hospitals like poor working conditions & doctors who treat patients as research objects. The reality of his situation begins to set in and Yuta Konno's beliefs are challenged.

Sasasa May 14 2014 1:39 am @ff While it is true in America, it is quite common to become a full fledged doctor after 30 as you have to get your bachelor and the med school and residency etc. It takes quite a while. But in some countries, you don't have to get bachelor's first, med schools are like other universities and you get in after high school. It does take some 6 years but people can usually become a doctor at 24 or 25. If you wanna be specialized, I'm sure you'll need some more years but it is certainly possible to become one at 30.

ff Jul 29 2012 12:44 pm its pretty normal in my country to become doctor at 37 ,cause we need to study and train about 10 years to become full fledged doctors.6 years of studying and 3 years internship and after it specialization its even more than 10 years.so i dont buy neurosurgeons at age 30 like its in dramas sometimes,completely ridiculous.thats why our doctors are the most knowledgable specialist ,hired all over the world
