Set on a remote island, a school there has roughly 10 students. The students all had previous troubles at schools in the city, including being bullied and refusing to attend school. These students are able to grow through the small school and the warm-hearted people on the remote island.

Chihiro Natsumura (Yukie Nakama), who is a teacher on the remote island, struggles to solve the problems her students have.

ace Oct 31 2014 6:48 pm lol@cornfed. I hear you. I just watched the new Sakura with her as a special cop with a unique ability. I was so glad to see her playing a lighter role again. She is a hoot in it. But I did like Saki. Well, not 'like' exactly but it held my attention nicely. She was great in it.

Natski Aug 26 2013 12:15 pm Although Yukie Nakama played the role of a teacher again, This series is very different from her role in Gokusen. The tone is a lot more serious which I think is a good role for her. She appears to have gained weight and at times looks pregnant. Maybe because of the costume.

I need my Yukie to be on our side! It's just not fair for her to be that pretty and have her using her powers for evil instead of good... ;)
