Kota (Teppei Koike) gets transferred to Fukuoka from Tokyo by his company. In Fukuoka, he doesn't get along with people there and feels lonely.
One weekend, Kota participates as a volunteer for a disaster in Hoshino Village. Among all the volunteers there, Koka is the only that doesn't seem to have much interest in what he is doing. Kota frequently has conflicts with other volunteers like Taizo (Tetsuya Takeda) and Mayu (Anna Ishibashi).
Kota then meets Keiichiro (Keizo Kanie) who cultivates tea. Keiichiro strongly turns down offers from volunteers to help restore his tea farm. Before the flood damage, his wife, who worked with him, died. Getting through all of this, Keiichiro has now decided to give up his tea farm. Keiichiro's state of mind reminds Kota of himelf. Kota begins to think of ways to help Keiichiro.
