Young-Hwan (Ki Joo-Bong) is a poet. He stays at a hotel by the river for free. Without any specific reason, Young-Hwan feels that he will die soon. Young-Hwan decides to call his two sons whom he has not seen for a long time. A-Reum (Kim Min-Hee) was betrayed by a man she lived with. She begins to stay at the hotel by the river. In order to receive comfort, she calls her friend Yeon-Joo (Song Seon-Mi). Yeon-Joo comes to the hotel and stays with her. Young-Hwan sees A-Reum and Yeon-Joo at the hotel by the river.
