Etsuko (Yuki Mamiya) works as a hostess at a bar in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture. She lives with her boyfriend Hayato in a rundown area. Etsuko and Hayato love each other, but they begin to have doubts about each other. Hayato's friend, who came from Tokyo, tells him there is no hope in Okinawa because of low pay. Hayato's plan is to breed expensive dogs.
