47-year-old Ryohei Marukawa (Katsunori Takahashi) was recently released from prison. He walks along a riverbed looking for a place to die, but he is hit by a rugby ball. The men playing rugby nearby are part of a 40-and-over rugby team. Ryohei Marukawa joins the rugby team and begins to rebuild his life.
