Plot

As a modern remake of the 1980s hit drama, “Terminal Point,” “My Woman” is set in a shipbuilding yard. “Terminal Point” had the highest ratings back in its day.

Hyun-min (actor Koh Joo-won) lost his father at sea when he was a young boy and ever since that loss, he vowed to build safe and reliable boats. But his dreams of designing ships and living happily with the woman he loved were taken away from him. He rebounds from these huge setbacks and the drama follows his life as he sets out to become a tycoon in the shipbuilding industry.

Park Min Apr 01 2023 4:34 pm Big ships init. Unnecessarily long for such a casual story, the ships weren't interesting enough to fill the gaps. There wasn't much chemistry between the leads. Both male lead sucked. All the relationships sucked, romantic and non-romantic ones. By the end, I couldn't care less who would end up with who. The first half was purely about the love square. The second half was about business and ships. The drama trick you to think that Kim Hyun Min is the main lead but you'll quickly realize that Se Ra become the lead and occupying more than 80% of screen time. Despite all she did, the drama painted her in a favorable light. While Hyun Min remained insignificant. This is the biggest problem the drama had.
